Manchester City also want Maguire who would eclipse the £75m Liverpool spent on Virgil van Dijk in 2018
Manchester United want Harry Maguire but have been put off by Leicester’s asking price of £80million.
The England defender is also a target for Manchester City, as both teams look to bolster their defence ahead of next season.
The 26-year-old was said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford, following initial interest from the Red Devils after the World Cup last summer, but the move never materialised.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola wants to sign a replacement for captain Vincent Kompany, who has left to join Anderlecht as player-manager.

Should the fee be met, it would eclipse the world-record amount Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk in January 2018, when they took him to Anfield for £75m.
Maguire cost just £17million when they signed him from Hull in June 2017 and he has since gone to establish himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League.
Foxes boss Rodgers is desperate to keep Maguire, who only signed a new five-year deal last September.
When asked about the centre-half’s future, Rodgers said: “There have been discussions. We just have to wait and see.
“I’d love him to stay. It depends on the player.”
