Tottenham’s aspirations of getting Heung-Min Son to sign a bumper new contract could be given a massive boost with the player joining the same management agency as his boss.
The South Korean, who’s in talks over a new deal with his club, has joined up with CAA Base, a division of CAA Sports, who also represent Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dele Alli, James Rodriguez and Bernardo Silva are among the firm’s other clients.
Mourinho is keen for the club to sort a new long-term deal for the 28-year-old, recently saying: “I wish. He deserves one. The club knows that and sooner or later, without any pressure, they will arrive into a decision.”

Son’s header in Monday’s 1-0 win at Burnley was the ninth time this season and 29th in total that he and Harry Kane have combined for a Premier League goal.
They have matched the fruitful partnerships of Arsenal legends Thierry Henry and Robert Pires and Manchester City greats David Silva and Sergio Aguero.
Only Chelsea icons Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard have combined for more goals than Son and Kane (36), with that record well in their sights now.
